Fall Event 2013
Dating Game - Photography Style
Married to the Business
DESCRIPTION: When you said "I do" the two became one. Then you started working together in a business that did not respect the boundary lines of marriage and family, in fact, it has made itself at home in your home. Soon it spreads from your office into the kitchen, to the den, the living room, even the bedroom. At first you and your spouse held hands as you dove in because this was living the dream! But late nights turn into long weekends, and disagreements about clients and retouching and sales techniques are more and more frequent.
It is because there has been another wedding... Your marriage and your business are now one, living together in messy matrimony. You dont know where the business starts and where it stops because its become part of you. It is how people know you. It is where you win awards. It is where you dream together. It is what you talk about...all the time.
One day you wake up and realize this dream you once had could cost you the oneness that was the reason you got married in the first place! You see it happening all around you to other people, and you know intuitively that unless you draw up some battle plans, you are going to be another statistic.
Come listen to the Eifferts, the McClanahans and the Gehmans talk about building a successful marriage and a successful business... under the same roof.
